Compassionate Companionship

WELCOME
Welcome to Compassionate Companionship
I created Compassionate Companionship to bring warmth, connection, and comfort to seniors — and peace of mind to the families who love them.
I offer friendly, faith-guided companionship visits for nursing home and assisted living residents in Le Roy and Batavia.
Each visit may include conversation, reading, games, music, prayer, or simply quiet, caring presence — time devoted to listening, sharing, and brightening the day.
Many families wish they could visit more often. My role is to fill those in-between moments with kindness, laughter, and genuine attention, so your loved one always feels seen, valued, and cared for.
Visits are arranged directly with families, never through the facility, and always with deep respect for routines, staff, and care plans.
After each visit, I share a short update so you can stay connected and informed, no matter where life takes you.

Services are strictly social and supportive in nature. No medical care, personal care, or hands-on assistance is provided.

About Compassionate Companionship
Compassionate Companionship was created to offer connection, comfort, and presence to nursing home and assisted living residents — and reassurance to the families who care about them.
As life changes, families often balance work, distance, health, and responsibilities while still wanting their loved ones to feel engaged and supported. Compassionate Companionship exists to complement that care by providing consistent, meaningful visits focused on emotional well-being and human connection.
Founded and personally provided by Heather Ashley, Compassionate Companionship offers non-medical, in-person companionship visits that are shaped by each resident’s preferences and daily routine. Visits may include conversation and laughter, reading or music, prayer or spiritual support, games, or simply sitting quietly together in calm companionship.
Heather is Essential ALZ Certified by the Alzheimer’s Association and brings a respectful, steady presence to every visit. Services are arranged directly with families and always provided in full compliance with facility policies and established care plans. Care remains strictly social and supportive.
Families receive thoughtful follow-up updates after each visit, helping them stay connected and informed, whether they live nearby or farther away.
At its heart, Compassionate Companionship is about adding warmth, consistency, and personal attention — supporting residents while giving families peace of mind that their loved one is receiving care, conversation, and companionship between visits.
